Few decisions have more impact on someone’s life than what they do (and where) with the years immediately following high school. Some go off to university. Some opt to enter into the work force. Others just take some time to “chill” while they sort out their options.
Regardless of which road you choose, thousands of dollars are at stake. Room, board, tuition (if your go to school) it adds up real quick. Not to mention the opportunity costs – once you embark on one option, by definition other options are eliminated.
